All of us want to reach the best at home hair color, but sometimes is hard. We chose this alternative as to save money or time. Quick & Cheap
The first thing to know is that you will never go from blond to black, from red to platinum hair and so on. This kind of extreme hair changes can only be done in a professional place, and require multiple steps. Coloring your hair at home can be really easy if you know the process and all the rules for it.
#1 First rule is to identify your own and natural color of the hair and then go only 2 shades darker or lighter. No more than that, because you will definitely end with spots and destroyed hair.
P.S. After you decide the color, make sure you buy enough product. If you have a long hair, we recommend you to buy 2 boxes. You don’t want to be in the middle of the process and realize you have no more product to add and cover the whole hair. If you don’t need the second box, you can keep it for the next time. As long as you have not opened it, is all right.
#2 To avoid your hair turning orange or purple (laughs), and get the best home hair color, you MUST try the product on a small piece of hair and see the result.
Please have patience and don’t jump right into coloring your entire hair. Try the new shade, and if you are happy with it, go ahead and do your magic.
#3 How to color your hair at home?
Put on an old button-front piece of clothing (it will be easier to take off when it’s time to rinse), which you can stain without regret, and then start the process.
#4 How to apply hair color at home?
Instead of using a body lotion to protect your forehead from staining, you can easily glide a transparent lip balm along your hairline. If you, by mistake, exceed the hairline with some product, you will be able to quickly clean it. You can also ask somebody at home to help you. Why not the man in your life? <3 That would be nice and fun.

#5 Put on your gloves and use a brush to make sure the product reaches all your hair and will be uniform.
Start from the top (the roots need more time to color) so you should apply dye first, then ensure the full coverage. While applying, you can use two mirrors, the bathroom one and the other one handed up at your back to see if you can cover everything.
#6 Put a shower cap on your head and give it the time specified on the instructions on the box you bought.
Then you can rinse (do not forget to use the other pair of gloves, in the second box for washing the product off, because you risk to end up with stained fingers)… and ENJOY the new fresh home hair color.
After all this process, we recommend you to use a mask as to protect and repair your hair. (Protection, Repairing and Shinning)
